Easy A.

I saw this movie after Narnia. The first part of the story was good but I didn’t like the ending. Olive is this nice girl who goes around helping the looser guys improve their reputation while putting her own at stake. It all began with a lie about why she couldn’t go camping with her best friend’s weird family. She lied about going on a date with a college guy who doesn’t exist.  Her friend thought she slept with her imaginary college boyfriend and she had to say yes to shut her up. Unfortunately, s gossiper girl overheard them in the toilet and she spread the news around the school. Then this gay guy asked her for help. If she could pretend that she slept with him, he would be accepted by other guys. Then another fat looser guy approached her for a similar arrangement followed by other losers. More rumors spread and some were so exaggerated.  Olive thought she was going to be a hero helping people out. When things got out of control, she went back to them to ask them for their help and nobody cared. They were all concerned about their own reputation. So she decided to come clean by telling the whole world what really happened. Well, it serves all those people right for being so selfish…the story ended with the losers getting what they deserve while she meets a really nice guy who really likes her. Actually I thought a better ending would be for the losers to help her come clean and being honest to the world about how they feel. And maybe their friends would feel sorry and give everyone their dignity better….but then again, this is Hollywood right? They wouldn’t be able to end the story with a good bang. So there you go. What goes around, comes around like a vicious circle.
