Yoga: Spinal Twists
Today at yoga we did lots of spinal twists. Our teacher told us that this is good for stimulating the digestive system and the twists can help eliminate toxins from the body as well. I found immediate benefits after doing this pose. I burped. :-) I have a history of indigestion. I can also get bloated and sick whenever I can't burp or give it out the other way. I'm going to add spinal twists in my own daily routine. The other pose that I've been raving about in my earlier blogs a few months back is the vajrasana pose, another pro digestion pose.
